On Health Care...

Government-controlled health care is communism! The very idea is anti-American! This is somethibng that needs to be left up to businesses! Medicaid is taking up a huge ammount of our money. And it's being wasted. We have to learn how to deal with it without shoving more money on top of the problem in hopes that that will fix it. (I work hard to earn my living at the sweatervest store I own and I shouldn't have to fork it over to the ~poor~) We need to put the patients first when it comes to medicine! We must protect them! But we're NOT going to raise taxes for it. And we will certainly not let the government monopolize it and ruin it with irritating inefficiency and uncontrolable costs! Besides, that's communism! We need to change the current system so it focuses on families, not lawyers. Rigth now the taxes descriminate against people without employer-supplied health care. That shouldn't happen. We should help those with disabilities, but NOT make another wasteful federal entitlement program for them. Right now we should focus on preventing disease in the future, especially for the childen. So we need to get rid of all these fat kids. Make them excersize! Really, we need to reduce this number of obese kids! And we need to get the younger generations to quit smoking! If they weren't so stubborn, maybe they won't have so many diseases to deal with! We need to make information clear and concise, end the STUPID lawsuits that good doctors face, reward the good doctors, and try to modernize. We need to whip Medicare back into shape. It's screwed up royally. Idiots are misusing it, seniors are uninformed about it, it all sucks. I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with it, but by-gone-it, I'm gonna!! We also need to makea system of emergency medical aid in case of emergency. Like biological warfare.

  2. Medicare is definitely a program that has proven to be helpful throughout history. However, it has slowly declined as our economy has fallen further and further into debt. I agree that something certainly needs to be done. Disease and obesity plague our children and can only be ignored for so long. Healthcare is a major issue and americans need to take charge instead of bystanding. Repeal Obamacare and start over.

  4. I disagree with them. I believe that the government should protect its people. This would include their health. The government should help the people with their health care.

The government does have a problem with health care and it needs to be fixed but i think some people really do need help paying for health care. _Becca
